Quiet Mind NeuroMeditation Course
The Quiet Mind style of NeuroMeditation can be helpful for many people and for a variety of issues or struggles. Practicing Quiet Mind NM offers many benefits such as: bringing quiet and stillness to the mind and to the system; fostering positive sense of self, connection with the core self, and internal strength; generating a calm and expansive awareness; increasing inner quiet; fostering greater ability for self-regulation; creating distance from thoughts, feelings and sensations; building the observer; and forming new neural pathways and expanding brain plasticity
Through this class students will: learn the basics of Quiet Mind and how it impacts the brain; learn the various ways to access Quiet Mind; gain knowledge of what issues Quiet Mind is most helpful for; practice movement meditation to Quiet the Mind; experience sitting Quiet Mind NeuroMeditations - using a variety of imagery and senses.
Quiet Mind NeuroMeditation:
is helpful for many issues like: stress, anger, anxiety, sleep, addiction, grief/loss, and PTSD, people with activation issues and dysregulation, to name just a few.

Learning Objectives:
As a result of completing the course, students will be able to:
understand the foundation of Quiet Mind NM and the affect it has on the brain
determine how and when to use Quiet Mind NM to respond to various states of being (stress, anxiety, depression, grief, etc.)
relate how Quiet Mind NM impacts or effects the Vagus Nerve - as well as basics about the nerve, and the critical role it plays in our lived experience of daily life
select from a variety of ways to practice QM
practice movement meditations to Quiet the Mind
practice guided sitting Quiet Mind NeuroMeditations the various ways to practice Quiet Mind NM
discern which of the senese they easily connect with as a route to bring greater Quiet to the Mind
determine what type of imagery students strongly connect with and understand the importance of connecting with the "right" imagery for the each individual
access links and other resources for continued practice of Quiet Mind NeuroMeditation
After the course, students will have: a basic understanding of the Quiet Mind Style of NeuroMeditation; knowledge of how and when to practice Quiet Mind NM; experience practicing Quiet Mind through movement meditations, and the various ways of practicing Quiet Mind NeuroMeditation; insight into which senses and imagery their brains connect with most easily; the tools and ability to continue independent practice at home.

Brief Introduction Course
Length: 2 HOURS
Two classes at 1 hr or 1 class at 2 hrs
