Tools for Finding a Licensed Therapist Who Aligns With YOU
Picking a qualified therapist we are compatible with can be difficult. Especially when there are many grifters who profess ability but who have no actual training, credentials or licensure. Be careful in who you choose to work with. Your mind, your mental health, your well-being are areas which require extra careful caution.
If you are spiritual, or religious, you will likelly feel more aligned if you choose a therapist who includes this as part of their practice. On the other hand, if you are NOT spiritual/religious, you will likely want to avoid practitioners including this approach. When cross matched, this can result in feeling judged, frutrated and discouraged.
ALWAYS choose someone who is licensed and qualified.

EMDR
Internal Family Systems
DBT
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Choose someone you feel safe with and who aligns with your values
NOTE: Priests, Gurus, Healers and other religious/spiritual figures, are not the same; unless trained and licensed as a therapist. They may offer wonderful consolation and comfort, but you can generally assume that they are not trained appropriately for mental health challenges and are unqualified.
